At Scruffy City CrossFit we ascribe to a General Physical Preparedness programming philosophy. This means that our workouts are meant to develop abilities that translate to your day to day life (strength, stamina, coordination, balance, agility, accuracy, cardiovascular endurance, mobility, power, speed). We understand that beating people down everyday with terribly hard workouts is a recipe for disaster and injuries. That is why we incorporate full warmups, mobility, and cool downs into every class session. This also leads us to vary not only the workouts, but the workout intensity in order to create a sustainable practice. Our goal is to build you up, not break you down.
